Kentucky Derby Rain

Painted from Imagination…memories of a rainy Kentucky Derby, this work is painted in heavy-body acrylic on panel, with multiple layers of impasto glazes. This adds to the Rain and high-action movement, while quick brush marks heighten the atmosphere. If the viewer adjusts the angle of the gallery lighting, the painting will change, and appear to be either a light-rain or a down-pour. (62” x 26”……Includes custom studio-frame)
